Vinea is a small scale, Seattle, Washington, craft wine importer comprised of people who all have a history with wine and food through years of working as agents, brokers, chefs, and food & winesellers.
We travel constantly to find, taste, and team up with winemakers in Europe and elsewhere and ship their wares by boat, to Seattle.
Our passion is natural, biodynamic and organic wine, spontaneously fermented, from hand picked grapes and from vine to bottle with as minimal intervention as possible. We believe that wine should represent “place”, it should describe the landscape, rocks, soil, and traditions of the area where the grapes were grown, and transmit that through taste and memories.
But we are also pragmatic, and we know the value of a well priced bottle of quality Cava or an everyday priced bottle of Vinho Verde will fit the bill sometimes too.
We love our part of the world and look forward to always contributing new and exciting wines to the local market and beyond.
