We are super excited to have received some more stock direct from Celler Frisach over the holidays! Francesc and Joan Ferré have been crafting natural wines in Corbera d’Ebre, in Terra Alta, Southwest of Barcelona, ever since the family switched from growing grapes for others for over two centuries.

On the their labels, in Catalan, it states: “we are farmers, we live off the land, we believe that if we don’t respect nature, we aren’t consistent in what we do”

All of their wines spend time on the skins, some are field blends & co-fermented, and some varietals are harvested at different times to vary acidity levels for freshness. All exhibit tension filled, expressive, minimal intervention, glasses of Vernatxa (Grenache, Blanca, Gris, Negra, Peluda )and Carinyena from fossilised soils.
